Q: Why should I learn French?

A: French is an international language, spoken in 31 countries by 350 million people, is an official United Nations language and is the third most spoken language in the United States after English and Spanish.  In the recent past it was more popular than English.  The language is so prevalent that you will likely encounter it almost anywhere you go in the world.  Knowing the language opens up many opportunities in business, science and the arts.  Many important organizations around the world are French-speaking.
